Jack Canfield’s Recommendation for Jin Robertson

When going through tough times, it is helpful to read an inspiring story of someone who has overcome what appear to be insurmountable obstacles. I am delighted and proud to recommend one of my friends, Jin Kyu (Suh) Robertson, who has indeed lived a life full of amazing hardships and great over-comings. In fact, I can see several bestselling books and blockbuster movies in the story of her journey, which she has captured in her manuscript From Immigrant Housemaid to Harvard Ph.D.
I strongly believe that her story will inspire and motivate millions of people in the world regardless of their personal background, race, gender, age, profession, education, and economic status. I strongly encourage you to discover why Jin Robertson's book will have you turning pages until the very end and will leave you determined to appreciate all that is right with your life. Recommendation ...

Dear Jin,

I've written this recommendation of your work to share with other LinkedIn users.

"I had the pleasure of meeting Jin and hearing her inspirational life story when she was our special guest speaker at Born Toastmasters in Raleigh, North Carolina (USA) in July 2011. She has a motivational narrative that the world needs to hear! Jin has an engaging, energetic and uplifting speaking style and an authentic stage presence. She instantly connected with her audience, and we all enjoyed the experience. She is on a mission to motivate people to greatness, and I believe any audience would benefit from hearing her message. I highly recommend Jin as a speaker for your next conference."

Fan Letter

Hi Jin,

I finished your book earlier today. Thank you for sharing all the doubts and concerns you experienced through the earlier part of your life. I really liked you suggestion about talking to yourself in order to overcome those private thoughts. I also enjoyed reading Jasmine's thoughts about learning more about you as her mother. I SO understand what she meant about thinking she knew all about you and discovering there was so very much more to you.

Please thank HER for also sharing her thoughts in the book. I look forward to reading your next volume.

The Courage Coalition - Thank You!

Jin,

Thank you for sharing your story at The Courage Coalition in Kansas City
last week. You are one of the absolute BEST, most inspirational speakers
I've ever heard.

Since hearing your story, I have finally determined my own purpose in life
(inspiring, motivating and empowering other people) AND, most importantly,
HOW I will achieve it. I have not yet read your book, but have promised to
loan to my teenage granddaughters when I finish reading.

Best wishes in continuing to live your dream. You are doing great work!
Thank you!

A Letter of Warm Gratitude

Dear Dr. Robertson,

Aloha! I am one Jasmin's girlfriends in Hawaii. I am so glad to hear she is safe and sound in Japan. Jasmin is one of the most inspirational and loving women I know! Jasmin shared your inspirational story with me two years ago, as I was going through a very challenging point in my life.

After having to leave my husband with my small baby, Jasmin hugged me and told me how you raised her on your own. When she said this, I knew me and my son Jackson would be fine. I had a dream to start my life over on my own terms. Your words have really struck a chord in my heart.

For the past two years, I have rebuilt our lives. I truly believe that you must have action in order to fulfill your dreams. I have learned to take care of us and be an independent woman. I have set goals and I am reaching them..slowly. :) I ran my first race in Hawaii and I have returned to graduate school. Single parent hood has been full of challenges, but I have learned through your story that you can accomplish anything.

Thank you so much for all that you do! I have been following your podcasts every morning. I have been wanting to write you for some time but felt compelled today.

With all my gratitude,

Cicily Bilecki
